Xaver has been coaching U12, U14 and U16 youth teams at FC Bayern Munich since 2014. Being an internationally renowned media artist with exhibitions around the world, he uses a very unique approach to coaching basketball by incorporating his skills as an artist and creative. 

Xaver has set up and developed multiple coaching programs not only for FC Bayern Munich, but also for the German Basketball Association and has been a speaker for new youth coaches since 2017. In 2023 he was honoured to join the Euroloeague Basketball One Team Program on behalf of FC Bayern Munich. The project in collaboration with ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne was a huge success: The participants broadened their perspectives, met new people from different cultures, connected with basketball players and non-basketball players and represented the sport well – and all that while having lots of fun!

In the coming season FC Bayern Munich will continue this important initiative with children and teenagers living in orphanages . Xaver is incredibly excited and full of anticipation about what lies ahead, with the goal of getting a little better every day, making lots of good memories and using basketball as a tool to reach people.
